I had an over-all very good experience with saleperson R.T.Yancey. He was courteous, pleasant and eager to show and explain the features of the vehicle. Was knowledgeable of the product and was willing to answer questions and showed great willingness to work with me in select the vehicle of my choice. Felt comfortable working with him in a hassle free environment.

We were in the market for a 2011 Honda Pilot, hoping to get a deal since the 2012's just came in. We used the Navy Federal auto buying program which listed Honda of Bowie as the dealer. The car that was offered was a Demo model that had 2,000 miles on it, but it looked brand-new. Honda of Bowie said they would make us a deal on the demo. We did get a fairly good discount, but I feel like I should have negotiated more. (asked to see invoice, etc.)

Since my 2006 Honda Odyssey was getting a little long in the tooth, I decided to visit Honda of Bowie to entertain making a new purchase. A short 2 hours after I arrived, I was driving away in my third Honda purchased from that dealership. They offer exceptional customer service and no nonsense negotiating ...not to mention their outstanding service department. Make no mistake; I do my research before making car purchases weighing saftey, reliability affordability and convenience. If you plan on making a new car purchase, please consider Honda of Bowie and ask for Travis. You won't be disappointed.

I purchased a 2003 Honda CRV from this dealer in September.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful and I feel like I got pretty fair price. I went in thinking I was just going to look after spending several evenings looking at CRVs and prices on the Internet, but I drove off with a car.

I would describe their sales tactic as firm, but unintimidating.

I put a deposit down on the vehicle with the verbal agreement that I could take it to my mechanic for inspection. There were several things wrong with it: a bad rotor, a cracked steering wheel belt and burned-out actuators for the back door locks. Honda replaced all the bad parts (though they resisted a little on the actuators).

This was my first dealer experience and it was overall positive.

If I was to do it again I'd probably not put a deposit down first before taking the car to my mechanic. I was nervous the entire time that they would back out of their agreement to fix any problems. I was ready the entire time to drop the car off with the keys and cancel the deposit through my credit card company. But in the end they came through for me.

If you want a terrific salesman who will work hard to get you the best deal possible, you've got to go to Mr. Yancey at Honda of Bowie. I drove three hours one way just to work with him. I first got a quote on e-mail, then talked with him on the phone. After that, my husband and I decided that it would be worth the trip to meet him in person. This was after going to three other Honda dealers, getting reasonable offers, but dreading going back to the dealership for one reason or another. I left Honda of Bowie with a new vehicle that I just love. We couldn't thank Mr. Yancey the sales manager enough. The sales manager even gave my husband a hat!

I like to support local businesses when I can. My local Honda dealer is Hendrick Honda. I tried to buy a car from Hendrick but the salesman was so rude that I wound up buying a Toyota. So 2 years later I needed a minivan and I wanted a Honda Odyssey. So I tried Hendrick Honda again. They had the van with the color and trim that I wanted on the lot. After 5 hours of talk the best deal I could get was sticker + ADM of about $1600 or sticker less ADM and $16,000 for my trade in. That was 6 hours I'll never get back, shame on me. I gave my car to a wholesaler for $20,000. I then found Honda of Bowie through costco. Called Patrick Kiger at Honda of Bowie and scheduled an appt. Patrick showed me a list of costco prices which seemed fair for both the dealer and customer. He also showed me a list of Vans that were coming in the next couple months. The van with the color and trim that I wanted was due to arrive a month later. I put a deposit down on it and left. Easy business, the way it should be. A month later Patrick Kiger called and we set up a delivery appointment. I picked up the van and was happy. Again, easy business the way it should be. Patrick even mailed me my tags when they came in so I wouldn't have to make another trip to the dealership(I live in another state). Yes again easy business, the way it should be. I truly wish Honda of Bowie was my local Dealership.

Mr. Yancey was very accomodating to all my requests. He ran multiple vehicle and financing scenarios for me and came out with his best price the first time on each option. The pricing was competitive from all the 3rd party research sites and he didn't try to BS me along the way.

I recently bought a used car from Honda of Bowie and worked with sales representative Daniel Kim. Daniel and the folks at Honda were incredibly kind and easy to work with. They never pressured me to buy before I was ready and always answered all of my questions honestly. I'm really happy with my purchase and highly recommend Honda of Bowie - it was by far the best dealer that I've worked with. And I tested a LOT of cars from various dealers in the Washington metro area.

Daniel Kim is perhaps THE BEST person I've ever dealt with in a car dealership ... and I've been buying cars a long time. Extremely professional and honest. He makes the buying process so easy, stress free, and dare I say .. fun. And in follow up issues, he's been extraordinarily helpful. He's a unique individual in a business known for clones. Before going to the Honda of Bowie, I found the Nissan 350z located there online at kelly blue book and cars.com. I called and was transferred to Lionel Wilson who was kind enough to check if the car was there and immediately returned my call. He then set up an appointment time that was convenient for me to come look it over and test drive the car. While i was test driving it he was telling me helpful information about the car to make it easy for me to get used to. It was a great experience driving it and i wanted to take it home that night. There is no doubt that I will be referring friends and family to visit the Honda of Bowie. Lionel Wilson was a great help to getting me in the driver seat and I have never been happier.

I recently purchased a 2012 Honda Civc from Honda of Bowie. The first time I visited the dealership, I worked with Patrick Kiger and Elliott Bourne. At that time, there were no 2012 Civics to test drive because of the shortage in production of them. I gave Patrick and Elliott a description of what I wanted. One of my requirements was that the car must have manual transmission. Patrick took down my contact information and told me he would call when a car was available. Soon after that visit, Patrick called and invited me to test drive a car that was like the car I wanted, but with an automatic transmission. I came in for a test drive, and worked with Elliott, who answered all my questions about the car. I still had my heart set on a manual transmission, and with Elliott's help, I put money down to secure the exact car I wanted. It took about a month and a half for my car to come in. During that time, Patrick called me regularly with updates about the car and the exact day that it would be at the dealership. On the day of my purchase, I worked with Patrick and Elliott and made a deal that I was happy with.

I give my experience with Patrick and Elliott the highest possible rating. They were both extremely attentive, wonderful to work with, and they went out of their way to make sure I had the exact car that I wanted. In particular, Patrick's regular updates were always welcome and greatly appreciated. I look forward to seeing and working with them as I continue to enjoy my new Honda! FIVE stars all the way! I leased a 2009 Honda Odyssey in June of 2009 from David Song. This was one of those low payment lease deals that you see in the paper but when you get to the dealership the vehicle is gone.Not so at Honda of Bowie, not only was the deal available but I was able to choose the color I wanted as well. I've continue maintaining my van here even though it's 20 miles from my home because of the fast service and friendly people. Next year when my lease is up I will again look to Honda of Bowie for my next car.

I bought my first car from this dealership in 2009 with Mr. Bourne. He gave me the best price for a Honda CRV and had no problems driving it. This year I went back to the dealership to have my CRV traded for a Honda Pilot that I've always wanted since the new design came out. I know getting a new car means spending more time in the dealership but it was worth the wait. Mr. Kim walked me through all the fancy stuff of the new Honda Pilot. Took it for a test drive, my son and I were sold! Mr. Bourne and Mr. Kim gave me a great deal for my old car that helped a lot with purchasing a new one. They are very courteous, helpful and patient people. I know that for a fact since I've been in touch with my dealer since the very first time I got my CRV. If you call and leave them a message, they will definitely get back to you ASAP. If you have any problems with the car or your account, Mr.Bourne and Mr. Kim will be there to help you out. If I ever decide to get another car, I will definitely go back to Bowie Honda. Not only do I appreciate the people who work there but we get discounts too! My experience with Honda of Bowie far exceeded expectations. As most people do, I hate buying a new car. I started of first with Brown's Honda in Glen Burnie (DEFINITELY do not recommend dealing with them), but the moment I walked into Honda of Bowie, Ifiok was awesome to deal with as a salesman. There were no haggling games being played, he took my word for what I was saying and the same goes for David Song, the sales manager. You expect car salesman and managers to be friendly, they were definitely friendly, but beyond that, they were upfront, no haggling and respected me as a customer. I purchased a new Pilot and Ifiok went over the vehicle with great detail, knew the car inside and out. I would recommend to anyone to just go straight to Honda of Bowie and ask for Ifiok!

Honda of Bowie resolved an advertising glitch on my internet purchase to my satisfaction. Seems dealers may often use an independent service to determine the factory build of vehicles they take on trade. That was likely the case with the Mini I purchased. Thanks Honda of Bowie for working with me to resolve my original disappointment and take my overall experience from bad to good.

I bought my first car in this dealership and had a very nice experience. My salesman Patrick was very accomodating. He would work with you so that you will have the best deal. Just make sure to tell him what you want and he will try his best to accomodate your buying needs. So when it was time for my husband to buy his first car, I took him to Honda of Bowie and as usual worked with our favorite salesman Patrick. The finance department is also very helpful, they will make sure you get the best financing option. Overall Honda of Bowie had been a place of guaranteed customer satisfaction for me and my family...from car buying, to parts and service needs...everyone is just so friendly and accomodating.

Travis was great to work with. He went out of his way to ensure that we got the best deal possible. He made it work for us and his personality was great. We would recommend Travis and Honda of Bowie to everyone. The only thing that I would recommend is the salesmen be in sinc with each others' knowledge of the vehicles.

Having just had a terrible experience with Honda of Annapolis, Honda of Bowie basically did all they could to win my business.

Sarah, a very engaging Sales Rep., put in the work, spent time with me, remained calm and affable in the face of my persistent haggling and questioning, and yes (Sarah, if you're reading this), ended up being right about how happy I ended up being with the color she helped me choose.

Although they did try to negotiate the price back up, they never became pushy, even when trying to sell me extended warranties and the like. I felt like they respected the research I came in with, and didn't try to waste my time convincing me otherwise.

Aside from her, the dealership itself is clean for a place that busy, full of helpful people, and has a service department with free coffee, snacks and wifi. Other perks include their free anytime carwash for customers, vacuuming, and oil changes (if you can negotiate them). The service department was busy that day, but no one seemed to be waiting long or uncomfortable.

I first went to the Honda Dealership in Waldorf, MD. I felt like the sales associate wasn't listening to what I was looking for. I told him I wanted used and he tried to put me in a brand new car. I decided I wouldn't buy from them so I went to Honda of Bowie. Travis listened to what I wanted in a car. Didn't try to sell me something more expensive was respectful and honest. I couldn't have asked for a better sales person. I bought a white 2010 honda civic lx and I LOVE IT!

I had a great car buying experience at Honda of Bowie. My salesperson Daniel Kim was friendly, extremely informative and made the experience easy and enjoyable. Daniel answered all my questions and did everything in his power to make sure I was satisfied with the deal. By far, the selection, purchase and customer service provided by Daniel Kim at Honda Bowie was the best car buying experience we have had. Daniel made the usual painful ordeal into a pleasant, friendly experience. After visiting with him, we did not consider looking elsewhere, which we have always previously done. We got a great price on the exact car we wanted. We will highly recommend him and Honda Bowie to friends and family.

First, I want to commend Lauren Hehn. She is a true asset to your organization. She did everything she could do to make sure the transaction was done right. I would highly recommend Lauren if a friend of mine wanted to buy a car.

Hans did a very professional job for us. We needed to have me pay for the car but my ex-wife to own the car up in Massachusetts. Hans seemed to know everything and was able to make the transaction work smoothly.

The folks standing around out front were very friendly and got us to the people we were looking for.

Overall I am very impressed with your organization. I assume I have covered the "why" as you asked.

Daniel is very helpful when we went to buy the car. He didn't have too many fancy tricks, which saved us some time. The purchase was also very fast. The price he gave was decent and not much hassle involved. In general, I like his style of selling car and will definitely recommend him.
